Following the successful mission last year, the Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Chicago in cooperation with the CzechInvest agency in New York is organising another mission for Czech companies and scientific research institutions, which is aimed at establishing cooperation with American partners in the field of electromobility and autonomous driving.
This year’s mission will take place from 17 to 21 April 2023 in the state of Michigan. The mission is tied to the 2023 World Congress Experience in Detroit (https://www.sae.org/attend/wcx).
The programme will be finalised and meetings with local partners will be organised depending on which entities on the Czech side are interested in participating in the mission. The mission is financially supported by funds from projects to support economic diplomacy, and participants are provided with on-site transportation, admission to the fair, including a social gathering that offers an opportunity to make new contacts.
Mission participants are responsible for their own travel to the U.S. (individual arrival in Detroit on the weekend of April 15-16/individual departure from Detroit on the weekend of April 22-23), on-site accommodations, and any other personal expenses that cannot be covered by the economic diplomacy project.
