Automotive Day 2026

About event

The fifth annual Automotive Day event will take place on April 8, 2026 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the CTU Prague-Dejvice campus. The outdoor exhibition in front of the National Technical Library connects academia with the automotive industry and offers a unique perspective on the present and future of mobility.

Visitors can look forward to a wide range of modern vehicles, including electric cars, hybrid models and technological innovations. There will be test drives, presentations by car manufacturers and suppliers, and demonstrations of student projects – for example, the CTU student e-formula. This year, the stylish Microlino electric vehicle and the premiere of the Alpine A290 electric model will also be of interest.

The event will feature a number of major brands, including Alfa Romeo, Citroën, Hyundai, Kia, Peugeot, Škoda, Toyota, Volkswagen and Tatra, as well as technology companies such as Porsche Engineering and Valeo.

Automotive Day is open to the general public – admission is free. The event is intended for everyone who is interested in innovations in transport, electromobility and automotive design, whether they are experts, students or technology enthusiasts.

The event is organized by the Masaryk Institute of Advanced Studies at CTU under the auspices of the Mayor of the Prague 6 District, Jakub Stárek, and the Rector of CTU, Prof. Michal Pěchouček.
