“In recent years, hybrid cars have significantly strengthened their position on the European market, where they have become the most popular choice of customers. This development is also reflected in Czech production, where their production increased by almost 46% year-on-year in the first five months of this year. Hybrid cars now make up more than a fifth of all cars manufactured in the Czech Republic. Toyota Motor Manufacturing Czech Republic has a significant share in this result, whose production now consists exclusively of hybrid models,” says Zdeněk Petzl, executive director of the Automotive Industry Association.
