NEWMATEC is an international knowledge forum focused on new materials, technologies and innovations that determine current and future trends in the automotive and related industries. The conference aims to bring useful insights and experiences from leading experts and to promote information exchange and networking. NEWMATEC emphasizes new trends in materials and technologies and connects managers, business leaders and academics into communities where value is created.
The upcoming conference will take place on May 27-28, 2025 at the Hotel Partizán in Tale, Slovakia. The program is divided into two days, with the first day featuring conference lectures and an evening networking program, while the second day continues with additional lectures and panel discussions in two separate conference rooms. Participants can look forward to sharing experiences from specialists, inspiration from automotive industry experts, making new contacts and an evening banquet.
Previous speakers at the conference included prominent figures such as Alexander Matušek, President of the Slovak Automotive Industry Association, Ivan Hodáč, Founder of the Aspen Institute Central Europe and former Secretary General of ACEA, and Oliver Grünberg, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Member of the Board of Directors for Production at Volkswagen Slovakia.
NEWMATEC has become an important event in the region, providing a great opportunity for active networking and knowledge exchange among automotive industry professionals. The conference is organized by the Slovak Automotive Industry Association.
