The Automotive Industry Association presents companies that have earned the right to use the prestigious title “Supplier for Car of the Year 2026 in the Czech Republic” in the 32nd annual Car of the Year 2026 survey in the Czech Republic. Parts from domestic companies are not only used in the winning Škoda Elroq, but many of them are also part of all five cars that advanced to the final round of the competition this year. The companies registered with AutoSAP also supply parts to the vast majority of the twenty-six nominated cars.

 

The Škoda Elroq was named Car of the Year 2026 in the Czech Republic, and the prestigious award “Supplier for Car of the Year 2026 in the Czech Republic” was awarded to the following companies:

“Above all, I wish the winning car success with customers, because their satisfaction is the best confirmation of quality. However, credit also goes to the wide network of suppliers, without whose know-how, precision, and long-term cooperation, a modern car could not be created at all. The Czech supplier sector has an exceptionally strong position in this regard, as evidenced by the fact that it is difficult to find a nominated car that does not contain components manufactured in the Czech Republic. I am convinced that it is precisely this strength and professionalism that will continue to support the competitiveness of the Czech automotive industry and contribute to the development of the entire economy,” says Tomáš Jungwirth, Communications Manager of the Automotive Industry Association.

The range of parts supplied to the winning car is exceptionally wide – from trunk lining and upholstery, tires, interior carpets, and rear armrests to body reinforcements, high-strength bolts, door hinges and locks, seats, springs and stabilizers to rear lights, seals, acoustic insulation elements, electronic modules, parking systems and other key components.

The Automotive Industry Association was once again the traditional partner of the Car of the Year 2026 survey in the Czech Republic and also the organizer of the accompanying Supplier for Car of the Year 2026 survey in the Czech Republic, in which more than two dozen AutoSAP member companies participated this year. The 32nd edition of the competition enabled domestic automotive industry suppliers to present their products, which were used in a number of not only winning but also all registered cars.
