The growing interest in electric vehicles is also reflected in domestic production
In the first three quarters of this year, a total of 1,095,937 passenger vehicles were assembled on the lines of domestic car manufacturers, 0.6% more year-on-year. The million-vehicle mark was thus broken again in September. This also became the historically strongest month for Czech battery electric vehicle production (25,708 BEVs). The combined monthly production volume of passenger vehicles with external charging (BEV and PHEV) then exceeded the 30,000-vehicle mark for the first time and, with a 23.7% share in total production, it also surpasses the production volume of hybrid vehicles (HEV).
